RYA Yachtmaster Coastal

Fahrbereich:
up to 24m in length, 20 miles from a safe haven
Voraussetzungen:
- 30 days at sea on a vessel less than 24m LOA,
- 2 days as skipper on a vessel less than 24m LOA;
- 800 miles
- 12 night hours
- SRC & 1st Aid
- Alles in den letzten 10 Jahren
RYA Yachtmaster Offshore
Fahrbereich:
up to 24m in length, 150 miles from a safe haven
Voraussetzungen:
- 2500 miles minimum of which 1250 must be tidal but as skipper or crew
- 50 days in either tidal or non-tidal water
- of the minimum 5 x 60 mile passages 2 must be as skipper (in any waters) and 2 passages must be tidal
- 2 of the passages must be overnight, as crew or skipper and in any water
- SRC & 1st Aid

Yachtmaster Coastal:
The RYA Yachtmaster® Coastal has the knowledge needed to skipper a yacht on coastal cruises but does not necessarily have the experience needed to undertake longer passages.
Yachtmaster Offshore:
The RYA Yachtmaster® Offshore is competent to skipper a cruising yacht on any passage during which the yacht is no more than 150 miles from harbour.
